LeaseDOK Troubleshooting Guide | Resolving Upload and Clause Extraction Issues

Fix common lease upload, parsing, and export errors

LeaseDOK is designed to process commercial lease documents quickly and accurately. If you encounter issues, they typically relate to document formatting, file type compatibility, or session timeouts. This guide addresses the most common troubleshooting scenarios.

If your lease fails to upload, confirm that the file format is supported. LeaseDOK accepts searchable PDFs, Word documents, and Google Docs exports. Scanned image-only PDFs may require OCR processing before clause extraction can occur. If the document exceeds file size limits, compress the file and re-upload.

If clauses appear to be missing or incomplete, check whether the document includes embedded exhibits, handwritten notes, or non-standard formatting. Complex tables and heavily scanned pages can impact parsing accuracy. In these cases, reviewing the original lease alongside the extracted clauses is recommended.

If export formatting appears misaligned, ensure you are using the most recent browser version. Clearing cache and refreshing the session can resolve rendering inconsistencies. Word and PDF exports preserve structured formatting, but unique lease layouts may require minor adjustments post-export.

For persistent technical issues, submit a support request with the file name and a brief description of the problem. Attaching the document directly through the secure support channel will allow the technical team to replicate and resolve the issue efficiently.
